Bankers are called serious, technical, and analytical but, when it’s time to learn, they come to play. U-City is a cross-platform game dedicated to the 20,000 people in the commercial network of UniCredit Italy.

Created to promote knowledge and use of the bank’s digital services U-City also encourages the adoption of the UniCredit mobile banking app. In the game players have to regenerate an entire city developing sustainability and digital transformation.

U-City features both single and multiplayer mode, customizable avatars and many challenges to gain in-game credits and experience points, as well as real-life prizes.

The project won the first prize at the EFMA Banking Innovation Awards Future Workforce category.
